2009 Dinner Preparations Underway
With the 2009 Evening of Blessing dinner roughly a month away, the staff is eagerly preparing for what looks like another record breaking year. In addition to the commitments of all of our past sponsors, Bridgeman Foods, which owns Chili's and Wendy's, came aboard along with Woodman's in Oak Creek. We would like to thank our tremendous sponsors for their generosity, especially in these tough economic times. The staff is anticipating over 500 guests to walk through the Community Center's doors this year and are doing all they can to prepare. This year's dinner hopes to bring in some new dinner entertainment from throughout the Oak Creek Community.
Currently, the staff is actively seeking donations from it's past sponsors and also looking to add new sponsors to make the event a greater experience for all. If you or your business is interested in partnering this dinner, please contact Rich Duchniak at the Oak Creek Community Center.
The staff is also beginning to fill out their volunteer requirements and are seeking volunteers of all ages. Positions that need filling are servers, bussers, greeters and entertainers. Previous experience is not necessary and can volunteer for as many hours as you choose. Entertainment must be clean and appropriate for all age groups. Anyone interested in volunteering should either fill out the volunteer sign up form or email Patrick Hansen at phansen@oakcreekrenegades.com
The Evening of Blessing staff are looking forward to having another successful dinner and making a difference in the lives of hundreds of people in our community. We feel that being a community makes us all a family and it is our duty to help take care of one another.
